The Henderson Memorial Public Library Association announces the availability of two positions on the Board of Trustees in November 2014. Interested parties may pick up an application at the library through the end of August. Non-Jefferson residents will be considered.
August marks the start-up of documentary Sundays again at the Henderson library.
Join us Sunday, August 24th at 1:30 PM for the film, THE ANONYMOUS PEOPLE, the feature documentary about 23 million Americans living in long term recovery from addiction. Paws to Read is a program that allows kids to read aloud to a therapy dog in order to improve their reading and communication skills. Plus, it's just plain fun bonding with our furry friends!
Registration for the Fall Edition of Paws To Read at the Henderson Library begins next Monday, August 4, 2014.

Open to adults ages 18 & up. All entries MUST be the original work & property of participants.
Registration Forms are available at the Henderson Library.
Participants may hand out business cards; however, all personal business transactions on library property are prohibited.
Library personnel and board members are exempt from entering the juried show, but may submit (and bid) on silent auction entries.

Join us for our end of Summer Reading Party on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 from 6-7 PM. We will be drawing for prizes, passing out reading certificates, for those that met all their Summer Reading goals, and enjoying some food!
