Henderson Library hosts ALFC documentary film series

This summer the Henderson Library will play host site for the Ashtabula Local Food Council's  Local Food Summer Film Series.

The films are an excellent way to learn about Local Food and the various issues that our own growers and communities face.

A series of four film documentaries, each film will begin at 1:30 PM on Sunday afternoons at the library. All documentaries are free to the public and there will be a brief open discussion following each film.

The first film documentary is FRESH and it will be showing at 1:30 PM this Sunday, May 31st.

Racing in the Rain in May @ Henderson Library

Henderson Library races in the rain in May with Garth Stein's The Art of Racing in the Rain.

During the month of May our goal is to get as much of the Jefferson Community reading the SAME book and in 2015 that book is The Art of Racing in the Rain.  Read the book in May and join us in June for a community book party and a chance to win one of two signed copies from Garth Stein: (1) The Art of Racing in the Rain and (2) Garth's latest book, A Sudden Light.
