The Red Beet Row Agroecology Education Farm, in partnership with Ashtabula County ICAN Libraries, invite you to a unique ONLINE experience as they take you on a tour of their underground greenhouse located on Maple Road in Jefferson, Ohio. Discover what plants they have been growing in their off-grid greenhouse and how they maintain desirable temperatures without propane or electricity, using a passive solar design. Red Beet Row Farm has been instrumental in maintaining and supporting the seed libraries located throughout Ashtabula County.
They ask that you please donate YOUR seed to your closest Seed Library! Libraries include: Andover Public Library, Conneaut Public Library, Henderson Memorial Public Library, Kingsville Public Library, and Rock Creek Public Library.
